Assessment methods include coursework, e-assessment, oral examination, portfolio of evidence, practical demonstration, task-based, and controlled assessments, allowing learners to demonstrate their skills and knowledge in multiple ways.
This qualification combines competence-based and knowledge-based assessment. Competence-based assessment is carried out in the workplace, assessing occupational competence, while knowledge-based assessment evaluates vocational skills, knowledge, and understanding in settings such as classrooms, workshops, or other training environments. Learners must provide sufficient evidence to meet all learning outcomes and assessment criteria, ensuring they can apply theory and practice confidently in real-world settings.
Upon successfully passing the qualification, the learner will receive an Ofqual-regulated certificate (soft copy/scanned version) issued by iCQ Awards, which is included in the course price.
If you require a hard copy certificate, an additional fee of £25 will apply. This covers standard postal charges.

Non-native English speakers must demonstrate an appropriate level of English language proficiency. Learners must also have access to a suitable environment and the necessary resources to complete the practical assessment components.
Assessment combines competence-based and knowledge-based methods. Learners are evaluated through coursework, e-assessment, oral examinations, portfolios of evidence, practical demonstrations, task-based assessments, and controlled assessments.
